In an Oct. 1 story, “Lambda Chi on deferred suspension,” Praveen Sathianathan said Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Gamma Delta were on probation. Phi Gamma Delta was off probation as of Oct. 1. “Kappa Kappa Gamma is happy to report that we are in fact in ‘good standing’ with the University. Kappa’s standing was incorrectly changed by an administrator on the Web site that was cited in last week’s article. The Web site has since been corrected,” according to Kappa President, Elizabeth Gillis.
In the Sept. 29 story, “Fourth annual Alpha Chi Couture breaks records,” Rachel Duke wrote, “the record-breaking donations this year were almost twice as much as previous years, and nearly as much as the $25,000 raised in 2006 and 2007.” The story should read, “This year’s donations were almost twice as much as the donations received in 2006 and 2007.”
