President R. Gerald Turner has named a 15-member search committee to replace Robert Blocker as provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Al Niemi, dean of the Cox School of Business, will chair the committee. The vice chair will be Larry Ruben, chair of Biological Sciences in Dedman College. The other members are:

The first meeting of the committee will take place in August when classes resume for the fall semester.
