Following last weekend’s performances at the Montana Invitational, sophomores Dana Powell and Sidney Stewart were named Offensive Player of the Week and Co-Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.
Powell currently tops C-USA charts after recording two double-doubles this weekend, bringing her season total to seven.
Powell was also named MVP of the tournament.
Stewart, averaging 4.78 digs over four matches has 86 on the season, including 27 in one game against Arizona State.
Stewart was named to the All-Tournament team following SMU’s first place weekend finish.
