Swimmer Jennifer Blackman and diver Kristen Schild swept the C-USA women’s swimming and diving awards this week.
Blackman was named Swimmer of the Week after her gold medal performance in both the 50 yd. and 100 yd. freestyle events this weekend. Blackman was also the second leg of the first-place 200 yd. freestyle relay that finished with a time of 1:36.55.
Senior diver Kristen Schild was named as the C-USA Diver of the Week for her first place finishes against North Texas as well. She swept the competition, taking the gold in both the one-meter and three-meter events.
Both athletes will compete again at the Aggie Invitational this weekend in College Station.
