Mustang Foundation (MF), a student-run nonprofit organization at Southern Methodist University, is now accepting applications from non-chartered student organizations for funds. MF chooses the groups with programs that are well-planned, relevant to the needs of the SMU community and in need of funding.
Unlike Student Senate, who only grants funds to chartered organizations, MF does not have restrictions on what the group uses the money for so long as it corresponds with the event described in the application. MF is open to any organization that has an established mission and goal.
Each group must submit a program idea for which the money will be used. After the grants committee reviews the applications, the groups will be interviewed by the MF board and voted on.
Applications are available in the organization boxes in the Student Activities Center or at www.mustangfoundation.org. They can be submitted to Elizabeth Rubalcava at [email protected] or to Nancy Kress in the CCPA division office, Umphrey Lee 267.
Applications are due Friday, Nov. 10.
