Mail forwarding
If you are a current campus mailbox holder and would like your mail forwarded to you over the summer months, fill out a change of address form online at www.moversguide.usps.com or in person at the campus Post Office before May 8. Bulk mail (catalogues, magazines and other direct mailings) will be forwarded for up to 60 days. Cards and letters will be forwarded for 90 days.
Summer in Taos
If you are still thinking about summer school, there are a few spaces available in the May term in Taos. Additionally, there are a number of spaces available in the Summer I term (May 30 – June 27); all classes are available except biology. If interested, stop by the Taos office at 3108 Fondren, room 100 or call (214) 768-3657. Applications are also available online at www.smu.edu/taos.
Dick Cheney to present final Tate Lecture of year
Vice President Dick Cheney will present the Dan and Gail Cook Lecture Tuesday as part of the Tate Lecture Series. The lecture will follow an interview format as Cheney answers questions posed by Time magazine political correspondent Hugh Sidey. Students wishing to attend the lecture should gather across the street in front of McFarlin Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Students will be seated for no charge on a first-come, first-served basis and must have a current SMU student ID to enter the building. There will be a simulcast of the lecture in the basement of McFarlin Auditorium. Students are asked not to bring backpacks to the lecture.

There will be no afternoon student forum for this lecture.
Travis Mahan memorial information
A memorial service for Travis Mahan will be held at 7 p.m. Monday on the steps of Perkins Chapel.
Visitations with the Mahan family are from 6 – 9 p.m. today at the Amos Family Chapel in Shawnee, Kan. The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Westwood Christian Church in Westwood, Kan.
Rusty the therapy dog on campus
Rusty the therapy dog will be available to students today from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at the Counseling and Testing Center to help relieve finals week stress. No appointment is necessary and visits with Rusty are free. For more information call (214) 768-2211.
Grads receive senior rate to alumni association
SMU’s newest alumni receive a senior discount of $25 to join the Alumni Association. The senior rate is only $10 (normally $35). Visit www.smu.edu/alumni for more information.
SMU named third most fashionable
Women’s Wear Daily has named SMU the third most fashionable university in the United States. New York University was ranked first, followed by Howard University in Washington, D.C. WWD qualified SMU by saying “students can recite the names of the city’s newest boutiques as easily as any local style editor.”
