“Out on Fraternity Row” editor to speak at SMU
Shane L. Windmeyer, co-editor of the book Out on Fraternity Row: Personal Accounts of Being Gay in a College Fraternity and member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity will give a presentation on homophobia in college greek houses.
Windmeyer’s talk will take place at 4 p.m. April 22 in Hughes-Trigg Student Center Theater. The speech is sponsored by the SMU Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender & Straight Organization, and admission is free.
Discussion dissects “The Sopranos”
“The Sopranos” has attracted a large following and even more discussion. A panel and audience discussion will explore the critically acclaimed HBO show’s storyline 7 p.m. Saturday in the Hughes-Trigg Theater.

Meadows ticket special nears end
Friday is the last opportunity for SMU students, faculty and staff to take advantage of the 2-for-1 ticket special for “The 2002 Grand Event: Meadows at the Meyerson.”

Concert fights against land mines
Amnesty International will host a free Earth Day Concert featuring Kirby Lane at 2:45 p.m. April 22 at the flagpole. The concert is meant to help raise awareness of problems regarding land mines and to encourage the United States to sign the global treaty to ban these weapons.
