Dear Editor:
Recently, I have begun to wonder about the “proofing”, or rather lack thereof, in The Daily Campus.
Being a devoted reader of The Daily Campus,I have noticed many misspelled words or missing words in articles. I have not kept an exact count, but am aware that there have been quite a few in the last few editions. I am not an English major, so I am not necessarily in tune to other errors that may have been missed, such as grammatical errors. This problem often makes the articles confusing to read and leaves one rereading a sentence or paragraph to try to figure out what the writer is trying to say. One finds him or herself self-editing the article just to read it properly. I acknowledge your work in publishing The Daily Campus, and thank you for your time and consideration of this observation.
