The Residence Life and Student Housing Student Staff will kick off its recruiting season between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Commons this Friday.
SMU students will have the opportunity to learn about all the positions available for students with the department and current RLSH Student and Professional Staff will be available for questions.Ã Applications will be available during the festival.All jobs showcased during this festival and recruiting season are for the 2006-2007 academic year.Ã The six different categories of student staff who work for RLSH include resident assistants, who work in the traditional residence hall; community assistants, who work in Hawk, Martin and Moore; apartment community assistants, who work with the SMU Apartments, Daniel House and Multicultural House; program coordinators, who work with specific communities to coordinate programming efforts; hall tour ambassadors, who represent the RLSH department through campus and community tours; and desk assistants, who work hourly shifts at one of the two area desks located inside our residence halls.
