The SMU equestrian team wrapped up its regular season this weekend at their home field at Flower Mound Equestrian Center.
Despite the Mustangs’ attempts they were unable to upset the Gamecocks.
“It was a good competition and we competed well,” said Erica Buie, a freshman open flat and fences competitor.
The Mustangs will next compete in the Varsity National Championships in Waco on April 18-20.
SMU will be the No. 12 seed of 12 teams. South Carolina will enter as the No. 1 seed.
