It is the 125th annual State Fair of Texas in Dallas.
There are a wide variety of animals at the fair that are used to educate people about agriculture, our heritage, and where our food comes from. Workers are ready to answer any questions regarding the animals and the food sources they are used for. Demonstrations, petting areas, and signs are all available to educate the public.
Anne Kimmey of Livestock Public Relations at the fair says it is important to communicate that Texas and the United States have one of the safest and wholesome food supplies in the world.
