This semester, I’m being pulled in many different directions. I am taking 18 hours, working as online editor for The Daily Campus and serving as secretary for the Phi Sigma Pi honor fraternity.
Why am I doing so much? Partly, because I want to, and partly because of my resume. Today, employers are looking for well-rounded, dedicated people. While that is not a bad thing, becoming such a person can be difficult.
Once my classwork starts to pile on, I probably won’t have time to breathe. That thought alone stresses me out. Why do we have to be so busy to look well-rounded?
