C-SPAN’s Campaign 2008 bus will be on campus today to provide information and resources about the election and the U.S. government.
On its Road to the White House Tour, the campaign bus is visiting communities, schools and political events in multiple cities and states with the aim of informing voters and teachers and enriching civics education.
The C-SPAN 2008 Campaign bus is a 45-foot, mobile multi-media demonstration center. It also has TV production units that aim to unite communities across the world by sharing information about public affairs.
On March 26, the bus will go to the University of Texas at Dallas and Tarrant County College before leaving Dallas and heading to Austin.
C-SPAN was created by the cable industry and is offered as a public service and broadcasts a variety of public affairs events. Students who live on-campus can watch C-SPAN on channel 24.
