Some options for graduating students before commencement

May 15 marks the end of 2,263 students’ SMU career. EdBoard would like to offer some suggestions for the next twoweeks.

1. Park wherever you want on campus. As long as you have adiploma the SMU police department is limited in itsjurisdiction.

2. Walk by the Dallas Hall seal without your heart beating 6omiles per hour. The bad grades curse only counts for classes atSMU.

3. Visit the site of the new Dedman Center and pick up a shovel. It may be the most exercise you get out of the facility.

4. Eat a meal at Umphrey Lee one last time. Before long you willhave to pay nearly $8 for it.

5. Smoke your last cigarette a minimum of 25 feet away from anybuilding.

6. Hopefully, have your last representative that only givestheir perspective, nothing more.

7. Use up any possible discount avenues before you no longerhave your student status.

8. If you ever used your SMU email address, make sure you get anew one. That’s one of the first things they take away.

9. Hurry and buy your SMU alumni football tickets. The ticketsmight be sold out soon.

10. Start saving your money now. Then one day you may be able toget your own Georgian-style building named after you.
