The Road to Freedom: Migration and the Search for a Better Life

The Collins Center at the SMU Cox School of Business will be hosting ‘The Road to Freedom: Migration and the Search for a Better Life’ presented by The William J. O’Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom on September 26, 2014 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.

The sixth annual conference will cover how migration affects the workforce in a series of five sessions.

Jim Prewitt, CEO of Landmark Nurseries, will be the Luncheon Keynote speaker.

The conference will also include speakers Nathan Ashby of UTEP; Caroline Brettell of SMU; Alex Nowrasteh of Cato Institute; and Richard Vedder of Ohio University.

The cost is $145 per person or $1450 for a table of 10. Students don’t have to pay the hefty fee. They can attend the conference for a cheaper fee.
