Aaron’s ‘bachelor’hood ends tonight
Tonight on “The Bachelor,” Aaron Buerge will reveal whom he picked for his bride, Brooke or Helene. The seven-week series of tears, cat fights, hot tubs and kissing will come to an end.
Tonight’s episode ends the show’s second season and the producers are looking for applicants for future seasons.
In an interview on E! network, Buerge said that he has been dating the woman he chose. He admitted to kissing seven out of the 25 women. Buerge denied having sex with any of the women.
“The temptation was tough especially being in a hot tub with some of the girls,” Buerge said.
At the end of the “Bachelor” special last week, ABC showed footage of Buerge repeatedly asking the various bachelorettes if they wanted to go into a hot tub.
Helene, 27, an elementary school psychologist, was one of those women. It took her a while to open up to Buerge, but in the last episode she did tell him she could see herself marrying him.
Brooke, 22, a student at the University of Alabama and a part-time brand representative for Abercrombie & Fitch, is the fan favorite. A poll on ABC.com had Brooke in the lead with about 53 percent of the votes.
When Buerge, 28, vice president of a chain of family-owned banks, asked his interviewers on E! who they think he picked, they said Brooke. Buerge even said that his ex-fiancée called him and told him to pick Brooke.
Buerge was not the only one previously engaged: Brooke also admitted to being engaged. She also had another secret; her father was in prison. When she told Buerge, it did not seem to have much of an impact on him.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on WFAA Channel 8 tonight.
