The ladies of Delta Gamma will be hosting their second philanthropy event of the semester, Viva La DG, this Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sorority women and potential new members look forward to these kinds of events, because it is a way to meet sorority women before recruitment in January while raising money. Junior Lise Anderson is excited about the event and how it will benefit so many people.
“We are so excited to have this event because all the proceeds go to the Delta Gamma Foundation and Service for Sight. People will be able to chat with Delta Gammas, eat delicious Tex-Mex and help raise money for a worthy cause,” said Anderson.
Tickets are being sold outside Hughes-Trigg and will be sold at the event for $5. Viva La DG will be held outside the temporary Delta Gamma house at 3109 Daniel Avenue. For more information, check out the SMU Delta Gamma website here.
