It has definitely been a time of joy and laughter in Cockrell-McIntosh.
Tues. Dec. 2, the residents of Cockrell-McIntosh spent time decorating the first for lobby for the holidays. The residents had a blast listening to Christmas songs while decorating the Christmas tree and eating chocolate chip cookies made by our Faculty-in-Resident Beth Wheaton.
After decorating was finished, we continued on to our weekly Tuesday Night Salon in Dr.Wheaton’s room. There were even more snacks and treats there as well. SMU Abroad director Cathy Winnie and SMU-in-Taos representative Jordan Lee joined us. We enjoyed our special guest very much and were delighted to hear all about the study abroad opportunities that SMU has to offer.
Thurs. Dec. 4, Cockrell-McIntosh had their commons holiday dinner. It was absolutely lovely! Resident Assistant Kyle Cantrell recited his on version of the Christmas story and later there was a gift exchange. It has definitely been a busy and fun week at Cockrell-McIntosh.
