Financial meetings for students interested in SMU Abroad programs are being held to ensure every student has a chance to travel beyond the SMU campus.
The Federal loans students obtain during the regular semester can apply if not do not use them during the fall/spring semester of that academic year. Kayla Riley, the Program Assistant for SMU-In-Oxford said, “Studying abroad allows you to see the world through the eyes of a curious traveler and at the end of the 5 weeks you will truly understand what JRR Tolkien meant when he wrote the words, “Not all those who wander are lost.”
SMU offers a pro-rated amount merit scholarship and SMU Opportunity Grant for students who apply and meet the criteria. Meetings for information on how to fund your abroad experience will be held in Blanton 112 on Feb. 5, Feb. 11, Feb.17, and Feb. 25.
