On Wednesday Feb 18., the SMU chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SMU SWE) will be hosting its annual She Networks, She Wins event, where female engineering majors will have the opportunity to speak with professionals from over 20 companies.
SWE is an international organization designed to help women pursue careers as engineers by performing outreach, bringing in companies to talk to students, and serving as a support system for some of SMU’s most challenging classes.
She Networks, She Wins will also feature a panel discussion with current, former, and aspiring female engineers, as well as free headshots, raffles, and food from Central Market.
This event is sponsored by The Hart Center and Society of Women Engineers. It will be held from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Palmer Conference Center for Engineering Leadership, Caruth Hall, Room 406.
