Student named Intern of the Year

The ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program honored senior Brittney Titus with the Intern of the Year award and $1,000 scholarship during the CSJP wrap-up celebration.

Titus interned at Methodist Dallas Medical Center as a junior volunteer coordinator, where she oversaw 65 high school volunteers. Her internship included planning the high school volunteers’ training, field trips, activities and fundraisers.

Titus is majoring in corporate communications and public affairs.

The Intern of the Year was determined by a panel of judges who reviewed nominations from participating agencies. Each nomination included information on an intern’s impact on the agency and their ability to exceed expectations.

For 37 years, the ExxonMobil CSJP has placed 75 undergraduates in paid internship positions with local non-profit organizations during the summer.
