Fifty people gathered in Jerry R. Junkins Building Thursdaynight to celebrate the presentation of the William K. McElvaneyPeace and Justice Award. Joseph Hough, president of the UnionTheological Seminary and recipient of the Robert O. Cooper Peaceand Justice Fellowship, spoke.
Michael Waters, an SMU graduate and Perkins theology senior,received the McElvaney award in recognition for his involvement inpeace and justice activities.
