Want to take a walk on the wild side? Spectrum, SMU’s largest undergraduate LGBTQ organization, will be holding its annual Drag Bingo at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18. The event is geared toward creating a positive, inclusive environment for SMU’s LGBTQ students and their allies.
Gabi Stilwell, a senior fashion media major at SMU, is excited to attend the event.
“It’s good exposure to the LGBT environment that doesn’t alienate different ways of life,” Stilwell said.
The event will be held on campus in the Hughes-Trigg ballroom. Everybody is welcome. Show up with your friends to see elaborate drag performances, eat free food, and win prizes. There may even be a twerk-off contest—better start practicing!
