Faith and business are often considered to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. But at SMU Perkins’ Faith & Business Luncheon Tuesday, Sept. 21 executives and religious scholars alike will discuss how faith influences business decisions.
Perkins School of Theology will be holding their Faith & Business Luncheon from noon to 1:30 pm in Elizabeth Perkins Prothro Great Hall.
“These luncheons feature a prominent leader in the community and are paired with a Perkins faculty member,” said organizer Christina Adamson.
Luncheons take place twice per semester, and this time around the luncheon will be led by Jere Thompson Jr, co-founder and CEO of Ambit Energy, and Dr. Bruce D. Marshall, Lehman professor of Christian doctrine.
The co-presenters will be discussing the role of faith in business and how their personal ideology and business decisions intersect.
