SMU issued a crime alert Tuesday afternoon after a graduate student reported on Saturday, Feb. 5 that she had been sexually assaulted by another graduate student.
The female student reported that the assault took place on Friday, Feb. 4 at her Dallas apartment eight miles south of campus. The female student said she knew the graduate student.
The student reported the incident to the Dallas Police Department.
