The Multicultural Student Affairs office is pushing the envelope with its monthly realTALK conversations.
The realTALK program has two more events this semester. At 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 there will be a conversation about mass incarceration in the U.S. During the final event of the semester, at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, realTALK will dive into the pro-life versus pro-choice conversation. Both events will be held in Hughes Trigg Ballroom West.
RealTALK takes current issues or events and creates open dialogue between students and faculty. The events allow people to hear new perspectives and have serious conversations in an environment without debate and criticism, according to Creston Lynch, the Director of Multicultural Student Affairs.
“This is a place to start the conversations,” said Lynch.
