Forum highlights Supreme Court case

SMU professors Joe Kobylka and Ellen Pryor will hold a forum at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Florence Hall room 201 to discuss the difference in undergraduate and law school teaching methods.

The forum will show how a particular U.S. Supreme Court case, New York Times v. Sullivan, is handled in both undergraduate and law school classes. The forum is open to all faculty and students.

Students stage mock jail

Members of Amnesty International are staging a mock jail beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday and lasting for 63 hours. It will be held at the flagpole in the main quad, at the end of Bishop Boulevard.

The imprisonment is being staged to dramatize the detention, torture and execution of nonviolent political prisoners worldwide.
