The Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development is hosting a night of commemoration for Black History Month on Saturday Feb. 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Musical performances, American history, and discussion at the event will pay tribute to American culture. There will also be a panel of SMU faculty and staff, along with professionals from the Dallas design firm 70kft, to discuss the protection of the traditional symbols of the South.
