SMU’s Diversity Week allows students to share and celebrate their own unique student experiences.
The week will kickoff with a culture fair at the flagpole Monday at noon. After Monday, all events will be held in Hughes-Trigg Student Center.
Tuesday night is the student experience monologues. This allows students to give a dramatic presentation based off their own true stories.
Wednesday there will be a discussion on the effects of college life on religion. Everyone is welcome to share his or her opinion.
The week’s events wrap up Thursday with a Pledge Day. This allows students to commit themselves to making SMU a more diverse community.
The week’s events are free and open to everyone.
Diversity week encourages students to open their minds and to promote a more diverse campus.
