SMU is welcoming students back to campus with a new health center. A generous $5 million donation from the Dr. Bob and Jean Smith foundation allowed the university to build the state-of-the-art facility.
The goal of the new center is to make student health a main priority on campus by offering a full service pharmacy, medical services, and health education services. The center opened on Monday, Aug. 8.
Dr. Randy P. Jones is the associate dean of the new health center and is excited to finally be a part of it.
“This state-of-the-art building is as good as you’ll find anywhere in the Dallas Metroplex,” says Dr. Randy P. Jones.
The Dr. Bob Smith Health Center offers important health care to allow for students achieve success.
