On April 21, SMU’s Meadows Museum will host an event to commemorate SMU Founder’s Day.
The event will take place at the museum, and will allow visitors to explore works on paper and the sculptures of Eduardo Chillida. The activities include hands on 2-D and 3-D art projects like clay carving, paper play, wordsmithing, storytelling and a scavenger hunt.
With the clay carving and paper play, visitors will be able to emulate the Spanish artist Chillida by using similar techniques used by the famous artist.
This free, family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m.-1 pm, so make sure to stop by the Meadows Museum on Saturday to enjoy entertainment, activities, refreshments and more!
