Senior defensive end Justin Rogers has just been added to the Lombardi watch list. The Rotary Lombardi Award is given to the top collegate lineman, offensive or defensive, in the nation. The first round of balloting takes place in late September. There are currently 101 players on the list. Rogers was also named to the C-USA Preseason All-American list as well as NCAA honorable mention All-American. Rogers led C-USA in sacks last season and was named to the All Conference Second Team. He also claimed a shared title of SMU’s defensive MVP.
