The inaugural Tour Des Fleurs 10k, 20k run event takes place Saturday, Sept, 23.
The event will be held at the Dallas Arboretum and will circle White Rock Lake.
The race is headed up by SMU alums Stacy Mullikin and Bart Fassino. More than 70 sponsors and 2,500 runners are expected.
The SMU men’s swim team is heading up three aid stations along the course.
Interested runners can register to race at Luke’s Locker or on race day at the Arboretum between 6-6:30 a.m. The cost per person is $30 before race day and $35 on race day. All profits benefit the Dallas Arboretum.

A post-party will be held on the Arboretum concert lawn at 8:30 a.m. and will feature the Emerald City band.
