After two days of voting, five first-year students have won seats in the Student Senate.
Rob Hayden, John Jose, Rachel Simpson, Eric Fabacher and Travis Newkumet are all scheduled to start training this weekend for their new responsibilities.
First-year students voted online for their top two choices, and the five winners were selected from a pool of 12 first-years who were running. Senate meetings are held Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Forum on the bottom floor of the student center. All students are welcome.
