Coming off a pair of tough losses at Oral Roberts (0-1) and No. 21 Oklahoma State (0-4), the women’s soccer team returns home this weekend for its home opener against metroplex rival University of North Texas.
The Mustangs are 18-5 all time in season home openers, outscoring their opponents by an average of 3.61 goals to 1.09. Against UNT, SMU carries a 10-3-3 record into Friday’s matchup with the Mean Green.

An Alumni game will take place at 6 p.m. on the field featuring SMU women’s soccer alumnae, who will also be honored at halftime.
Kickoff against the UNT Mean Green is set for 8 p.m. Friday at Westcott Field.
