The SMU women’s swimming and diving team will face its toughest competition of the year so far this weekend at Perkins Natatorium at SMU.
The No. 10 Mustangs will host the 14th annual Swimming and Diving Classic tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
SMU will welcome No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 15 USC, No. 16 Wisconsin, No. 21 Florida State and Alabama. Each school will bring a nine-woman team consisting of eight swimmers and one diver.
Each night will include individual races as well as relay events. Tonight will be the one-meter diving competition, while the three-meter diving competition will take place tomorrow night.
The women’s swimming and diving team joins the men’s soccer team as the two top 10 teams in the country from SMU.
