The SMU volleyball team hits the road this weekend for the first two of three road games in a row.

The first stop for the Mustangs is at Southern Miss where SMU will take on the Golden Eagles tonight. Southern Miss comes into the game with a 10-12 record, but has won just one of five conference games.

The Mustangs will then face the Central Florida Knights on Sunday afternoon.

UCF has struggled so far this season as well. The Knights enter with a 9-12 record and are winless in six Conference USA games.

SMU comes into the two matches without a much better record.

The Mustangs are 12-8 overall, but have struggled early in conference play with just a 2-4 record. The Mustangs may also be playing without two of their top players.

Both Rachel Giubilato and Kendra Kahanek are listed as day-to-day. Giubilato has been out for most of the conference season with a leg injury and Kahanek has missed the last two games because of an undisclosed injury.

After another road game next Friday, the Mustangs will return home a week from Sunday.
