SMU graduate Josh Trekell died Tuesday morning in an automobile accident. The accident occurred in the Turtle Creek area.
Trekell graduated two years ago and was a photo editor for The Daily Campus. He was also a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and pledged in 1998.
“Josh was a loyal friend and would do anything for anyone,” Lawrence Salerno, senior accounting major and Trekell’s fraternity brother said.
Trekell was active in intramural sports and helped out with the Special Olympics.
“He was an avid music fan and loved to play the guitar,” Salerno said.
Trekell’s Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4 p.m. in Perkins Chapel.
