I am an SMU Alum (’02) and have been a fan of SMU Football since my undergraduate days. Our program has struggled for a long time and is now finally seeing some success. I was very disappointed in the student body turnout on Saturday (v. Marshall) at Ford Stadium. I would think that more than 1 or 2 student sections could be filled for what is turning into a winning team. SMU plays on national television on Halloween night. I challenge our entire student body and alumni for that matter, to show up and support our team in front of a national audience. They are playing hard for our school. The least we can do is show up and support them. The student body should consider themselves lucky; wins have been few and far between for a long time until now. Show up and be loud. Go ponies!
