The subheadline of the Obama Wins story, No Country for Old Man, did not send the message we were attempting to. The headline was meant to point out the country’s choice for change in a youthful Barack Obama as well as the movement of the college-aged voter to vote and to get others to vote, while referencing the 2007 Academy Award winning film ‘No Country for Old Men.’ Unfortunately the headline ended up reading as rude, offensive and disrespectful, which was the furthest thing from our intention. Sen. John McCain has done nothing but serve this country through military service and as a representative of the state of Arizona in Congress, both House and Senate, since 1982. On behalf of the entire Daily Campus staff and myself I apologize.
