This summer’s Dallas Summer Musicals Season brings big names and big plays to town. The season starts off with a bang with the magical world of Peter Pan. The play features the talented Kathy Rigby reprising her role as Peter Pan in 100th Anniversary of the tale.
From June 7-19
DSM brings the 12 time Tony Award Winning musical, The Producers. Adapted by Mel Brooks from his famous movie, this is an old-fashioned Broadway musical. This version is directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, with words and lyrics by Mel Brooks.
June 21-July 3
The DSM brings Disney to town with the musical highlights revue, On the Record, which includes 64 timeless hits in one show.
July 13-24
The newest Tony Award winning musical, Movin’ Out, brings together 24 classic Billy Joel songs and is directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp. It tells the story of two friends whose lives change throughout the decades, using the choreography of Tharp and the music of Joel.
October 6-23
The famous Broadway blockbuster and Tony Award Winner, Wicked, finally comes to Dallas. This musical examines how two little girls grow up to be the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
