Seventeen searches for role models in Dallas

Seventeen Magazine and MTV are producing a new reality television show called “Operation Seventeen”. They are currently holding casting calls across the country in search of girls who are “all-American role models”.

These girls should be fun, motivated and at least 18 years old. Neither the Seventeen nor MTV websites have a thorough description of the contests to take place on “Operation Seventeen”, but the winner will be pictured on the cover of Seventeen Magazine and will be awarded with a college scholarship, an internship with Seventeen and other prizes.

Any girls who are interested in being on “Operation Seventeen” can either attend a casting call or submit the required materials by mail. The deadline for applying is May 6. Regardless of the submission method, girls must fill out an application that can be found online, have two letters of recommendation and have two photos (one face and one body shot).

The Dallas open call will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Beagle, located at 1806 Greenville Avenue. For more information about “Operation Seventeen” you can visit www.seventeen.com or www.mtv.com.
