The latest in a string of smash-and-grab robberies around Dallas occurred only blocks away from SMU early Tuesday morning.
Theives drove an unknown vehicle through the front of the Cork and Bottle liquor store and stole the ATM inside. The store is at the southwest corner of Mockingbird Lane and Greenville Avenue.
The vehicle shattered the glass windows, but shop owners had the it replaced by Tuesday night.
Since the beginning of this year, police say eight other ATMs have been stolen in this manner.
