Students looking to do some last-minute shopping for their sweethearts can check out the annual Valentine’s Day Vendor Fair today in the Hughes-Trigg Commons.
The event runs from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and features products ranging from jewelry, cosmetics, flowers, purses, accessories and cookies.
In addition to the area vendors that sell their wares, some SMU students will also be selling some of their works.
Junior Grace Brauser and senior Lindsey Wendler will sell their crafts and jewelry.
Wendler said her pieces will cost 250 percent less at the vendor’s fair than if bought in stores or online. Wendler was chosen as one of 10 winners in the Fashion Incubator Contest in November 2006.
Other vendors include Cybmidium Flowers, Marisela Del Campo Designs, Cookie Lee Jewlery by Marlene Barrow, Aqua Spa and Tiff’s Treats Cookies.
