Students and faculty alike are encouraged to come out Friday at 8 p.m. to take part in the event, which will take place on Bishop Boulevard at the flagpole.
“IFC [Interfraternity Council] is excited to present SMU’s first pep rally and concert with Hudson Moore. Hudson is one of the rising young stars in Texas music. He headlines at Billy Bob’s Texas,” IFC president Scott Robson said.
In addition to getting ready to take on A&M at Saturday’s game, the rally and concert will also focus on raising money and bring awareness about the V Foundation for Cancer Research, which has raised over $120 million to fund cancer research.
“Events like this are instrumental in our fundraising success,” said Nick Valvano, CEO of The V Foundation. “We appreciate the time and energy put forth by event planners like the SMU-IFC to raise money for cancer research.”
