Wonderful world of sex

First let me say, I’m by no means promoting, condoning, condemning or otherwise making comment on casual or promiscuous sex. But having lived in this country for some time, I have noticed that everyone has different types of beliefs, concerns and techniques in the area of sex. It’s what makes this land so great. People in Peru, the country I was born in, only wish they could speak as freely about sex as people in the United States can and do. Americans share among each other theories, silly stories, dark tales and even philosophy on sex.

Sex is everywhere – on beer commercials, billboards, and in music lyrics. Our society is not afraid to let it all out. But do we know every thing there is about sex or do we just think we do?

Americans enjoy sex. The size of the sex industry proves it. It’s a market that will never go bad because people will never stop having sex. Think about it. The industry includes magazines, dot com sites, xxx videos, topless bars, lingerie stores toys shop and the rapidly growing Condoms To Go franchises. Guys, can you imagine what the Amish community and parts of the middle east have to go through only being able to see eyes and – in some naughty moments – view a woman’s ankles? On the complete other extreme, there are societies where people walk around naked. But really it’s not as great as it sounds; you’ve seen National Geographic.

A recent teen, sex and pregnancy AGI survey shows that 25 percent of 15 year olds have had sex; 55 percent of 17 year olds have had sex; 80 percent of 19 year olds have had sex; and 20 percent of young people do not have sex while in their teens

This information shouldn’t be striking to anyone, but I doubt most of these young people are doing it right.

Myths have been going around that men need sex more than women. This is ridiculous. Both men and women have libidos. Even psychologists say that sex is wanted and needed for both genders. Everyone has sexual needs. Enjoying sex is perfectly fine; that’s why there is a overpopulation problem in the world.

What about the myth that women who like sex are sluts, or that guys who have more sex are studs? No not really. The truth is that we all know that this myth is dumb and it really shouldn’t bother anyone.

Karma-Sutra, tantra yoga and karezza classes probably won’t be classes available in the fall, but the techniques are worth learning. At www.luckymojo.com it says rather than suppressing an orgasm, try to let one or two contractions occur but then relax. Learning to let one or two waves of orgasmic contractions occur is very rewarding. Imagine yourself at the edge of a wave of pleasure, a wave of pleasure that does not break upon hitting the shore. While you are learning to ride the wave of bliss, your partner acts as a lookout, keeping the wave-rider from falling into the undercurrent of orgasm. When you and your partner become attuned to one another, you will no longer think about who is riding the wave and who is guiding; the roles will blend and mesh and you will both simply “be” there. That is basically the secrete teachings of tantra.

Sex can make you live longer and even give you more energy, so talk about it, share what you know with your partner, your friends, and even your parents and teachers.
