Comfy and chic clothes for class

When it comes to getting dressed for class, two main factors come into play: comfort and simplicity.

Most of us tend to push snooze until the last possible second and, in a frenzy, throw on whatever brainless ensemble we can get our hands on the quickest, thus resulting in the national college student uniform of sweats, running shorts and baggy T-shirts. But with fall trends like boyfriend jeans, loose-fitting tanks, rompers and cotton mini dresses, it has never been easier to bring style to comfort.

Celebrity fashionistas Kim Kardashian, Leighton Meester, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller demonstrate a series of effortless looks that are perfect for trekking to class. No athletic apparel here – these four outfits pull-off an easy on-trend look (one that does not force you to pretend like you are hitting the gym after class).

Be creative! Ditch the backpack and stash your notebooks in a trendy tote or satchel. Stand clear of flip-flops and slide into some gladiators, ballet flats or one the season’s hottest trends – oxfords.

Stock-up on the basics: solid tanks and tees, cardigans, blazers, skinny and boyfriend jeans, leggings and flats. Then, fill in those essentials with more trendy and unique pieces that represent your personal style.

The best part about fall’s casual must-haves is that they are all affordable. Shop these pieces on any budget from Neiman Marcus to Forever 21. Whether you splurge on a $300 romper or go for a $30 version, there is no doubt you will be able to at least attain a 4.0 wardrobe this fall.
