At the end of this month, the Women & LGBT Center is partnering up with the Office of the Chaplain’s and Affirming Religious Communities for the panel discussion event, “Faces of Faith.”
A panel of LGBT members, who identify with a variety of religions including Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism, will speak out about how they practice faith in their lives.
While there is often the assumption made that faith and LGBT people do not go together hand in hand, panel members will seek to change these preconceived notions by sharing some of their own experiences.
The discussion-lead event will be held in the Hughes Trigg East ballroom from 6 to 8p.m. on October 29.
