Students will have the chance to screen one of the hottest new films Wednesday.
Artisan Entertainment’s National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, courtesy of Network Event Theater, will be shown at 8 p.m. in the Hughes-Trigg Theater.
In the tradition of National Lampoon’s Animal House, which sparked the teen movie craze in the ’70s, Van Wilder – about a student approaching his seventh year of college – is a hilarious comedy about college life for an entirely new generation of moviegoers.
The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Van Wilder, Tara Reid as Gwen, Kal Penn as Taj and Tim Matheson as Van Wilder Sr. It is directed by Walt Becker.
