Like many students around campus, Jack Cinelli is excited about the upcoming intramurals season. The SMU intramurals program is a big part of the community as they typically see over 3,000 participants from the student body year round.
Tuesday, Aug. 30, marks the first day of another year of intramural sports at Southern Methodist University. The calendar opens with dodge ball and then completes its fall slate with soccer, volleyball, flag football, and more.
“Dodge ball and outdoor soccer are both coming up, but by far my favorite IM sport is basketball because of the intense competition and emotion that many players compete with,” said Cinelli.
The registration for each sport can be found online at SMU’s intramural website. Sign ups vary in timing, depending on the sport.
